Another mild week passes us by, fingers crossed the talk of the white stuff coming is hear say. It has been a very busy week considering the time of year, I have been in disguise this week so you might not have spotted me. I have been on the tools helping with the upstairs project which is very close to completion, my duties have included making the tea, taking lunch orders and standing still with my hands-on hips. All joking apart it looks fantastic and I should have some pictures to show next week. Rafa and his hammer were on site to help as always. Enjoy this week's read. |

PXG plans
As you all know CMGC has joined the darkside by having an official account with PXG. This is a big coup for the club as the nearest account to us is a course in Solihull. We have a fitting day on Monday, 4 February, however this is full. Our next brand exposure event will be at the Easter Open (18 April) PXG will be on hand with putters and wedges around the clubhouse and also the drivers, woods, hybrids and irons on the course. The following week, Wednesday, 24th April will be a full appointment only fitting day. This is ideal if you liked the look of the clubs at the Easter Open as you can then have the full fitting experience.
If, however you would like to get a fitting in the diary now for the 18, April please contact us HERE. If however you cannot wait until then please email me HERE and I can get a separate fitting organised for you.
It has been great to see so many members express an interest in the clubs with four full sets sold since December. If you’re unsure what PXG is watch these videos below. The ones about Bob Parsons are very interesting, he is a true entrepreneur.

Amy on tour
My first week of settling in at the new Claude Harmon Performance Golf Academy Dubai, previously known as the Butch Harmon School of Golf has been great, I've lead some junior classes and shadowed the coaches as much as possible, adding more to my knowledge of the game, but also their has been lots of Tour Pros practising down at the school with the likes of Tommy Fleetwood, Paul Dunne, Thomas Detry, Nicholas Colsaerts, Matt Fitzpatrick and many others. |
Amazingly I even fitted in a sight seeing day in between all the madness by heading to the Dubai Frame which divides New and Old Dubai and visiting the Gold and spice Souk.
This week however has been the craziest of all, by walking inside the ropes with Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and Claude Harmon on the Pro Am, to recording and scoring for 10 European Tour Players throughout the four tournament days, plus also walking the course watching Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and Tommy Fleetwood with their coaches, learning about their swing and details about their game. Now the week ahead is all about the new launch of the Claude Harmon Performance Academy, with clinics, meetings and lots more happening it's an exciting week to be a part off.

The last thing anyone wants is to purchase a new set of irons, only to struggle massively when they take to the course with their friends a few days later. Sound familiar? Well, with lots of new products about to land in-store for 2019, here is an iron model that we recommend having a custom fitting for... |
The new G410 iron from PING is a brilliant game improvement option that is engineered to offer impressive distance. When you look down at address, you'll notice its clean and refined shape, which will help inspire confidence with every club. But what we love the most is its updated COR-EYE technology, which delivers a higher ball flight and increased ball speeds - essentially more distance!
Hopefully, you have an idea of which iron you'd like to put in your bag, but it's not until you come and visit us for an enjoyable custom fitting that you'll know which iron and shaft combination performs best for you. We're here to help you play better golf. |
