Hello and welcome to the brand spanking new CMGC newsletter! We have been working closely with Foremost golf to make sure this newsletter set up is the best around. I hope you enjoy it and would love some feedback. My team and I hope you like it. This new website and email is fully responsive in design, so irrespective what digital device you are using the content will adjust accordingly, giving a perfect display every time.
This will allow you to read our weekly words of wisdom from the comfort of, for example your sofa, office or even a train.
We would love you to explore the website and investigate the tips and drills, product catalogue and interact with any features we have on the website.
We look forward to any feedback you may have so click here and tell us what you think about our new email and website.
The weather has been really strange this week with some warm sunshine on your back one minute and rain the next. I managed a few holes on Foxes Run this week and must say it is certainly improving at a rapid rate. I took this picture after a steady par down the ninth.
New Video and Re-Grips
As you all know Rob Watkins has now left CMGC to move up North and start a new career in Yorkshire. With that we have our final video with him, although it was shot around Christmas time we saved it ready for club MOT season. Click on the image to the right to view. With the wettest winter on record (hopefully) now a thing of the past many of you will have had an extended break from playing. Before you head back out onto the fairways please drop your clubs into us for a FREE MOT.
If you choose to have your club re gripped we will even do three grips for FREE! The most popular combo so far has been golf pride multi compound grips on the woods and golf pride tour velvets on the irons (these are the worlds top selling grip).
All you need to do is drop your clubs off for a free check and within 24 hours we will email/call you with a report and then it is totally up to you if you go ahead with any changes. A bit of a no brainer really, it is totally free so what do you have to loose? Don't make the same mistake as Tom did in the video!
For anyone that needs lessons we do have some professionals we can call upon, some dates and times that they are available will be posted in next weeks newsletter. The hunt for Rob's replacement is a long process due to the amount of applications, rest assured we hope to have an announcement very soon.

March saw the return of the popular Texas scramble format to Cleobury Mortimer. With overcast skies and the prospect of afternoon rain it was the early starters that posted the best scores. It was once again the scramble specialist who stole the show. Winning their seventh scramble out of the last eight played it is becoming a season of dominance from the team of Gary Mann, Nigel Williams, Aaron Booton and Martin Bower. They once again showed why they are the team to beat posting a score of 56.9 to win by a massive four shots. Speaking to captain Gary Mann he had this to say on there stunning current form. 'We have a nice mix of handicaps which gives us a few shots to play with, I am sure once the weather improves it will be harder to keep winning but at the moment we are enjoying the challenge'. Is there any CMGC team that can beat these lads????

Work has started on the lodge site with the contractors busy digging out the two bases for the show lodge and plot one. The show lodge is scheduled for delivery early in April. With the first lodge sold the exclusive site at CMGC is expected to attract a lot of attention. We are all super excited about this development and believe it will take CMGC to the 'next level'.
Short Game Area
Work will also start on the expansion of the short game area very soon. Remember the existing short game area will be fully open throughout 2014 the green is just being extended.
Food & Bar
George, Mikey and Sally have been hard at work developing a new food menu. After reading the hundreds of feedback forms it was clear everyone wanted wholesome home cooked pub style food. The menu has been simplified and new dishes added.
Here are a few pictures of the popular dishes from this week. Remember you don't have to be a member to enjoy this, business, friends and famly etc are more than welcome to visit CMGC. Lunch is served between 12 and 3 everyday.
