Men’s Aggregate Medal. The sun was once again shining on Saturday 12th May for the Men’s Medal and Aggregate 1. A trophy is up for grabs for the best nett score over Medals played on Saturday 12th May and Sunday 30th September as well as the usual prize money from the day of the competition. Mark Greenfield continued his recent good form with a nett 70 which helped him finish in second place in division two, finishing two shots behind Chris Rigby who shot a nett 68 and in the process has seen his handicap cut to 16. In Division one some great golf was played by John Westley and George Blakeway. Playing off 11, John shot a gross 77 to shoot a impressive nett 66 which, on most occasions, would be good enough for top spot, but George, playing off 12, also shot a gross 77 giving him a nett 65 to give him top spot and take the lead for the Agrregate Trophy. John has seen his handicap cut to 10.3 and George to 10.5, hopefully both players can continue this great form and get down to single figures.
