Hello and good day once again from everyone here at Cleobury. This week has once again flown by and everyone here is on such a high from the good weather we have had recently and the condition of the course. This past weekend we saw many familiar faces who had a bit of a lay off in the winter. We have had a couple of wintery showers but overall the course is still in top condition for the time of year. Going forward the greens and tees will be fertilised to encourage them to grow and get a bit more colour into them.
Pictured first is the Snow on Wednesday and below is the winter wonderland on Monday!
Hendry 3 Club
Don't forget this weekend it is the first trophy competition of the year.
The Hendry 3 club is a full handicap Stableford whereby you play with just 3 clubs, one of which MUST be a putter.
It is this Saturday and open to all 7 day members.
Who will be posing with the trophy just like me?
This is one of the oldest trophy's in the club and also looks a bit like me….. weathered!
Last Call On Mothers Day

All mums get a nice glass of Prosecco on arrival.
A huge thank you to everyone that got in touch with me on Tuesday March 1st for my lesson launch. In the first 48 hours, 8 of the 'Lucky 7' packages with the free golf balls were sold. So as I write this that's 4 left…. I'm not sure how long they will be around for so please act quickly. I have already started my coaching and so far the feedback I have received has been great. I will be at the club all weekend if anyone has any questions or wants a chat on how we can go about seeing improvements.
Once again thank you all so much and I cannot wait to work with everyone and get you all playing better golf.
All info can be found by clicking here.

£49.99 and offer superior quality and comfort from the number 1 brand in golf.

Texas AM The golf season is well and truly upon us here at Cleobury with the competition numbers getting higher and higher on a weekly basis.
Stuart Humphries back playing after an injury lay off showed what a leader he is with his team of the inform
Ross Moorecroft and dangerous players
Steve Evans,
Steve Scrace, together they scored a very impressive 99 points.
The day however once again belonged to the inform team of the winter.
Ash Cook, Adam Cook, Matt Fairman and
Lewis Hodges. These young lads once again played some stunning golf with the course playing superbly well. They finished with 112 points to win by a landslide.
Matt had this to say
'I was shocking off the tee today, but everything else was great. The other lads put us in some great positions off the tee and we really maximised scoring. I think if I was on my own today I would have had around 24 points'. 1st - Adam Cook, Ash Cook, Lewis Hodges, Matt Fairman - 112 points
2nd - Ross Moorecroft, Stuart Humphries, Steve Scrace, Steve Evans - 99 points
Jamie Fearnly took the nearest the pin on the 8th of Foxes Run.
I would expect all 4 players to see some handicap reductions once the qualifying competitions come in to play.
